Remember that when choosing your accessories, the year your cart was made will be important. Most golf cars go through body style changes like your automobiles, and as such accessories change with them. Here is a quick guide so you can locate your Manufacture Year. In 1981 Club Car Golf Cars have positioned their serial #'s to the right of the accelerator pedal on the aluminum frame. The first 2 numbers (not letters) tell you the last 2 digits of your manufacture year. On Club Cars prior to 1981, you can locate the serial # by lifting the seat and looking at the aluminum I-Beam frame section in front of the batteries on the drivers side of the cart. If the serial # plate is unreadable or removed, you can use this method:
• 1975-1980 - Model has 2 brake pedals and one accelerator pedal. • 1982-2000 1/2 - These carts have 2 distinct seat backs. They also have silver aluminum front and rear supports thin top with no handles molded in top. • 2000 1/2 AND NEWER - The Cart will have a one piece connected back rest, black front and rear supports and a thicker top with molded-in hand holds. |
